Pelee Island can be reached by ferry from Leamington and Kingsville, Ontario and Sandusky, Ohio. From the ferry dock on Pelee Island, it is 11 km (6. 9 miles) to the lighthouse on the northern tip of the island. Tours that start at the ferry dock and include a hike to the lighthouse are available. The lighthouse is owned by Ontario Parks. Ground open, tower closed.
