The Centre for Simulation-Based Learning (CSBL) and the McMaster Education Research, Innovation and Theory (MERIT) are pleased to announce the next speaker for Simulation Rounds, Dr. Andrew Petrosoniak . Dr. Petrosoniak is an emergency physician and trauma team leader at the St Michael's Hospital in Toronto, ON. He is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto and an associate scientist at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. His research work focuses on: using in situ simulation to improve patient safety and optimize skill acquisition of rarely performed procedures. Dr. Petrosoniak's presentation will take place on Tuesday February 27, 2018 @ 8am, the location is MDCL 2233. Videoconferencing access is available.
