Description

The core aim of this program is to teach kids about robotics, sensors, programming, engineering and more in a hands-on manner.
This program is based
on
the current science standards and is created to enhance students' curiosity and scientific inquiry skills. By introducing students to control technology and programming using robotics, our program enables students to work with theme-based activities; building Lego robotics
models with working motors, gears, cams and sensors; and programming with the intuitive WeDo robotics software to bring them to life. We cover topics such as Information and Control Technology, Science and Maths as well as Language and Literacy. Here are the key learning values:
1. Introducing the theory behind working with simple machines using gears, levers, pulleys, and transmission of motion 2. Developing scientific inquiry skills, as well as core soft skills like communication, team building, and problem-solving. 3. Investigating and working through observations, reasoning, predicting, reflecting, and critical thinking 4. Collecting data and describing outcomes
