Description

In 2011, the City of Waterloo joined the World Health Organization's Network of Age-Friendly Cities. We strive to create a city that enables older adults to thrive, and we aim for all residents to age safely, enjoy good health, and participate fully in their community. The City now needs input from residents aged 55+.
We would like to hear your thoughts on how we have done and how we can continue to work toward creating a more age-friendly Waterloo!
Working with the University of Waterloo, a Waterloo Age-Friendly Working Group has been established, and will be hosting three FREE public engagement sessions: A. February 16, 1:00PM - 3:00PMB. February 20, 10:00AM - 12:00PMC. February 26, 3:00PM - 5:00PM
The sessions will take place in the Hauser Haus Banquet Hall at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex, 101 Father David Bauer Drive, Waterloo, ON N2L 0B4.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and free parking is available. Free refreshments
will also be provided.
**NOTE: Spaces are limited so please RSVP for the session you would like to attend. For more information, please visit: waterloo.ca/agefriendly
