| Description | This initiative gives students and the greater Brock community the opportunity to get involved in hands-on service projects while traveling during the February Reading Week to communities abroad! There are a variety of projects offered and each experience is designed to give you the opportunity to meet new people, build relationships, and stretch yourself in new directions as you learn about the issues facing the community you are serving in. This will happen both with fellow teammates, with the organizations we partner with, and by learning from people living in the local community. You will also have the chance to experience the culture of the area, delve into the social issues at hand, and develop new skills as you serve and participate in group discussion throughout the week to help you understand all that you are learning and seeing. ... |
