Join us on November 17th, as Naseeha hosts its 4th Annual Benefit Gala at the Carlu in Toronto. Funds raised will be used to expand Naseeha"s hours of operation, increase the number of counsellors, provide on-going training, and market our services across North America.

Hosted at one of Toronto"s most elegant ballrooms, our Gala will feature a memorable evening with our keynote presented by former NBA player, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf. Finally we will present an overview of Naseeha"s goals and upcoming projects for 2019 as you enjoy a delicious 3 course meal prepared by executive chef Christopher Palik.

About our Keynote Speaker:

Mahmoud is a Public Speaker, Trainer and CEO of Lace"m Up Basketball Training Camp. He is also a former NBA professional basketball player. Mahmoud credits his faith, discipline, intense training, love of learning, healthy lifestyle and his unique insight and knowledge of the game of basketball for his longevity and success as well as the supportive people around him. Mahmoud uses his childhood upbringing, battle with Tourette's syndrome, conversion to Islam, his lifelong relationship with basketball at all levels to encourage, inspire and train youth and adults while sharing knowledge with the community. Mahmoud connects and demonstrates how the principles of sports, faith and life go hand-in-hand. Mahmoud"s experiences and life stories offers motivation to communities and promotes healthy living; answering questions and appealing to the needs of community for solutions and inspiration.
