Welcome to Toronto Eh! We are excited to welcome you to Toronto and look forward to learning with you and getting to know you better. As part of our international week experience, we want to ensure that all of us have an opportunity to network with fellow students and enjoy Toronto at its best.

We have put together an amazing selection of events during International Week that allows you to enjoy Toronto in unique and fun ways! The details of each are given below. All registrations and payments are due by Friday October 19, 2018.

Why did we offer one package price only?

The package provides you the opportunity to save money by enjoying all three events & an exclusive gift bag! The "All-Inclusive" Bundled Package, which includes all three events, and will save $60! This is a sure-fire way to meet your classmates, enjoy Toronto, and take full advantage of the International Week experience. If you prefer to sign up for each event individually, then please reach out to the social committee. And yes the package price is in Canadian Dollars.

Event Details:

1. Welcome in Downtown Toronto @ Four Seasons dbar on Monday, October 22, 2018:

Join us for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. dbar @ Four Seasons Toronto is recognized as one of the best bars in the Four Seasons Hotels & Resort properties. We haved reserved part of the venue and DJ starts spinning at 9pm. The pace is open until 1am so stay as long as you want.

2. Allan I. Carswell Observatory & Mixer @ York University on Tuesday October 23, 2018:

Join us for a one-of-a-kind interactive experience at York (Schulich) University by visiting the Allan I. Carswell Observatory. This tour will start after the welcome dinner on the campus. It is the home of one of largest telescope in Canada.

After this tour, we will head to the Executive privated dining room on campus for a mixer. Games & Snacks will be onsite and drinks will be available for purchase. We anticipate a fun bonding experience and lots of laughter.

3. SPIN Toronto in Downtown Toronto on Thursday October 25, 2018:

Join us at SPIN to play ping pong, drinks and dancing. This will be a night that allows you to relax, have fun, and socialize in King Street West which is one of the key social scenes in Downtown Toronto. Afterwards, one can key easily head out to other spots in DownTown.

In 2007, two best friends Jonathan Bricklin and Franck Raharinosy had a crazy idea"to get so good at ping pong that they could compete in the Olympics. So, they did what any future Olympian would obviously do"throw a party! The parties drew in an eccentric range of people from all walks of life, including Jimmy Buffett, Owen Wilson, Marty Reisman, 50 Cent and Salman Rushdie. The diversity of the crowd fueled the fun and vibrant energy that remains the essence of SPIN today. #unitedbypingpong

4. Exculsive "Canadian" Gift Bag for all package purchasers:

Includes memorabilia that is truly Canadian! This will be handed to you on our last class day :)

Please ensure that you have registered and paid by Friday October 19, 2018. This allows us to inform the venues, allocate costs, and ensure you have a secured spot. Should availability remain open closer to the event date, invitations may be extended to partners and spouses. Stay tuned for more details.
