Description
We invite you to join us at the fourth annual MedX Toronto conference, taking place at the University of Toronto on Saturday November 24th, 2018.

MedX Conferences are designed to be the ultimate medical preparatory experience. This conference features keynotes, workshops, group sessions, panelists and booths centered around a common theme: crafting excellent medical school applications and presenting yourself as an outstanding candidate.

This year's conference theme is "The Technological Revolution in Medicine" featuring workshops led by medical residents, doctors and prep companies. This year, we are introducing two personalized streams as per your requests. Register for the 'Introductory' stream and receive a comprehensive overview on the medical application process and advice on writing the MCAT exam. If you've already submitted your medical school application, register for the 'Advanced' stream and receive advice on how to best strengthen your application for future cycles and ace medical school interviews.

Don't miss out on this unique and informative event, get your tickets while they last! Tickets typically completely sell out within 1-2 weeks.

NOTE: Our new Diversity in Medicine initiative provides attendees from the following backgrounds with full coverage of conference registration and transportation costs: Indigenous, Black African, Black Caribbean, Black North American. FAQs

My university offers many medical school preparatory sessions. What makes MedX Conferences different?

Our conference is your one-stop-shop for all things medical admissions. Rather than a series of disjointed seminars on various admissions related topics, we bring together all the information, resources and connections you need to craft an excellent application into one space. Being an event unaffiliated with any school, our delegates also get the chance to network with students and doctors from universities across the province.

Is this event only for University of Toronto students?

This event is open to students from any post-secondary institution in Canada! We have two additional conferences happening in the GTA at both McMaster and Western University, which will also be open to students from any school. Further conferences across Canada can be found on the MedX Canada page.

What is included in my ticket price?

A single admission ticket to MedX Toronto includes access to all keynotes, workshops, panels and booths, as well as refreshments throughout the day, and lunch.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Yes, proof of enrollment in a post-secondary academic institution will be required upon entry, such as a student card or a university distributed bus pass. The ID must have your full name, as well as a photo on it. There is no age limit, although attendees must be in an undergraduate/graduate program at time of registration.

Is there a dresscode for the event?

Suggested dresscode for all delegates and speakers is business casual.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The Medical Sciences Building is located on Kings College Circle, where paid parking spots are available. Parking is also available on St. George street.
