The tides have turned"the sword is now mightier than the pen"as the figurative sword has been forged with actual data. Every permutation of consumer data is housed in data lakes, ponds, and streams. It"s now served through all sorts of models, even artifical intelligence. So, what"s a "creative type" to do when the agency is so far behind their clients in mastering the skill of using data to their advantage? Or, if you"re in-house, how do you prove an idea is worth considering when everything has to be proved by hard numbers. In either case, without the data (more importantly the insight) as backup, it's like bringing a Sharpie to a swordfight.

Dean will discuss how we can add quant-loads of data and analytics to good old fashioned human intuition. And get to the small data (i.e. human insight), that will prove your ideas are worth buying.
