Ms. Opulence Toronto is a dynamic Drag Pageant that aims to provide exposure and future employment prospects for some of Toronto"s new and experienced Drag Queens. Ms. Opulence"s goal is to give Drag Performers the opportunity to overcome barriers to success and increase awareness of the challenges they face in transforming their amazing talents into careers.

The success of televised Drag Pageants worldwide demonstrates the

interest of diverse audiences, and the immense visibility value for sponsors.

Ms. Opulence Toronto 2018will be hosted for its fourth year on November 3, 2018. Staged in the beautiful Grand Ballroom of The 519, a partner agency with an impeccable reputation for its support to LGBTQ+ communities; the event promises to be the biggest yet!

The main organizers behind this event are DJ BlackCat, and KingAd Johnson. DJ BlackCat is Toronto"s most sought after Urban LGBTQ+ DJ and party promoter for more than twenty years, and was recently awarded the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award by Toronto Inspire Awards. KingAd has over nine years pageantry organizing experience, and has the success of three major pageants in his portfolio. A winning team, they are supported by a community advisory committee, providing another twenty + years of event planning and promotional expertise.

We ask that all attendees drink responsibly. You must be 19+. Do not drink and drive. Please be respectful. Avoid making vulgar or distasteful comments or gestures towards contestants, judges, organizers, venue staff, and patrons alike.

Failure to act accordingly may result in your removal from the venue and being permanently banned from all future Opulence events.

• Contestants must be a person of good moral character.
• All contestants must not have committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public morals and conventions or that will reflect unfavourably on the pageant, its representatives, sponsors and/or licensees.
• Contestants will conduct themselves in a courteous, professional manner at all times during the Ms. Opulence Pageant and while representing a Ms. Opulence Pageant title.
• Contestants will not slander or libel other contestants, judges, Opulence Entertainment Toronto or anyone else involved with or connected to the Ms. Opulence Pageant.
• Contestants will not use defamatory verbal and/or written remarks against Opulence Entertainment Toronto and/or the Ms. Opulence Pageant system.
• All contestants will represent good sportsmanship at all times.
• Disruptive behaviour before, during, or after the pageant may result in disqualification, removal from the premises, and/or legal action.
• Contestants are solely responsible for all costs and/or liabilities associated with their entry and/or participation in the pageant.
• Opulence Entertainment Toronto, its founders, pageant organizers and/or associated partners will bear no liability for any contestant.
• Contestants must participate in pageant meetings and choreography trainings. Those who have missed these events risk being dropped from the competition at the discretion of Ms. Opulence Pageant committee.
• Contestants must be on time for pageant meetings and choreography trainings. Those who arrive later than 15mins to these events may be deemed absent from the event by Opulence Entertainment Toronto.
• All contestants will behave in a manner that reflects the values of Ms. Opulence Toronto to end trans-phobia, homophobia, HIV/ADIS stigma, etc.
• The winner of the crown must participate in activities deemed essential by Opulence Entertainment Toronto as central to the role of Ms. Opulence titleholder. If the titleholder does not make reasonable effort to participate in said activities the titleholder forfeits the crown.
