This Playshop is geared towards participants who are looking to expand their methods of pedagogical documentation in an Early Years classroom. Participants will learn strategies to make learning visible in partnership with families, educators and community. This session will provide educators with practical tools and strategies to capture learning in preparation for communicating learning in a variety of way (e.g.documentation panels, report cards). Registration includes a free Tinker Treasure Bag filled with resources.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Downsview Public Library is located near the intersection of Keele Street and Wilson Ave. Located at the northeast corner of Keele Street and Wilson Ave. behind the plaza. If travelling by TTC the Wilson buses from York Mills subway station and Wilson subway station, stop at the corner of Keele Street and Wilson Ave. in both directions. Free parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the library.

What can I bring into the event?

Participants are encouraged to bring their own items to document their learning during the "playshop" session e.g. iPad, notebook, etc. Please note that light snacks will be offered during the sessions however, if a participant is signed up for a full day of sessions at a venue, they will be responsible for their own lunch. While food is permitted, there is no kitchen available for warming up and/or preparing meals.
