The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum features fun, interactive exhibitions showcasing Canada’s agricultural history as well as contemporary agricultural problems and solutions. Current exhibitions include:

• Food Preservation: The Science You Eat, this new exhibition highlights the role science plays in delaying food decay and keeping food nutritious and safe from farm to fork.
• Energy Park: Nature at Work, which looks at renewable energy production on farms
• Tractors, which follows the machine’s 100-year journey from oddity to essential
• Taking Care of Beesness, which examines bees’ essential role in pollinating Canadian crops

Picnic at the Museum

The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum is ideal for picnics! In the shade of the apple blossoms, under a tent or in the sun, visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of the outdoors as they snack or have lunch. The Museum has vending machines but does not offer food services. No barbecues or hibachis allowed.
