The Laurier Woods Conservation Area

Activities: Free Admission, Lake River Reservoir, Education Interpretive, Hiking, Off-road Cycling Trails, Snowshoeing, Cross Country Skiing

Located in the heart of North Bay, this 240 area encompasses a provincially significant wetland, rocky outcrops, upland forest and is a sancturary to a broad range of wetland and woodland creatures, including migrating birds. Interpretive trail sites mark the 6.5 km of trails which feature look out platform. Owned in partnership with the Friends of Laurier Woods.
