Upper Credit Conservation Area, in Alton, is the longest stretch of publicly-owned land along the Credit River. This 378 acre property connects tracts of land and water which act as a green corridor for many species of fish, birds, amphibians and mammals. Enjoy the gently rolling meadow trails as this newly acquired tract of land is regenerated from its farming past. Open all year round, the trails can be used for snowshoeing and un-groomed cross-country skiing.
