Best seen by snowshoe in the winter months, this wetland spans 6,500 acres, 700 of which are owned and managed by the NVCA. There is a diverse array of wildlife habitat including an unique esker (long winding ridge of sand and gravel) surrounded by pockets of White Pine, Black Spruce and mixed hardwoods. It is an area of natural scientific interest (ANSI).
