The Selwyn Beach Conservation Area offers excellent swimming opportunities at the gently sloping sand beach (unsupervised). Picnickers will enjoy the choice of secluded barbeques and tables or the convenience of the picnic shelter (reservation required). Boat launching and docking facilities provide access the Kawartha Lakes system. The hiking trail winds through upland habitat where visitors can discover a variety of plants and wildlife in their natural habitats.
