Winter is at its coldest, and what better way to warm up than with a delicious hot pie? Come learn the art of pie-making at the beautiful Hart House Farm! We will spend the day creating and eating delicious sweet pies. Filled with the aromas of baking pies all day long, the farmhouse will be the best place you could spend your Saturday. Feel free to bring your instruments, card games, or just your good company! And for those who wish to venture into the cold, outside you'll find acres of winter wonderland just waiting for you build a snowman or make snow angels in. Bring along any snow gear that you'd like and explore the trails, take a tour of the farm, or warm up in the wood-fired sauna. Bring indoor shoes with you as you will be required to take wet shoes off at the door. We will provide a lunch and dinner that will definitely involve pies. Please alert us to any dietary needs or allergies when purchasing tickets; we will try to accomodate dietary needs as best as we can, however, we can't promise to accomodate every need. Given that this event is small and pie-focused, vegan and/or gluten-free options may not be available. So grab your aprons and come join us at the Farm for a cozy day of food and fun! **Unfortunately, the premises of the Hart House farm are not wheelchair accessible. Contact farm.committee@gmail.com for additional questions or information. Also, remember to bring your own utensils (tupperware or plates, knives, forks, spoons, mugs, bowls, etc.) for meals. We are trying to be more eco-friendly and will have cleaning stations for people to wash their cutlery, plates and bowls. This event is open to UofT Students & Hart House Members only.UofT students & Hart House Members may purchase tickets for up to 2 guests, & must be attending the event with their guest(s). You may be asked to show proof of your Hart House membership or UofT student card at the bus/farm.*** WE WILL NOT REFUND TICKETS LESS THAN ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT. NO EXCEPTIONS. *** *** We are trying to go eco-friendly, so please bring your own tupperware or containers for lunch. We serve a soup, salad, main and dessert for each meal, so remember to bring your own container for each.
