We believe that the some of the best childhood memories come from exploring nature, making discoveries, building a campfire, hiking through the fields and forests, building snow structures and playing in the natural world. Our highly skilled team will share their passion and knowledge of nature and outdoor adventure with your child. Our goal is to connect your child to a lifetime of appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Winter Adventure activities may include snow shoeing, crazy carpeting, snow sculpture building and animal tracking (depending on weather conditions). Our staff to camper ratio is 1:8. All staff have first aid training. Camp is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Supervision is provided from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m free of charge. Day camp programming takes place outside as much as possible. Please check daily weather conditions and ensure children come prepared for the weather. Along with cold-weather clothing suitable for wet conditions and/or muddy trails, your child must have: a change of warm, dry sock and mitts a hat a pair of indoor shoes a pair of warm winter boots snowpants A full change of clothes is recommended. Please label all belongings. Please pack a nutritious lunch and healthy snacks for morning and afternoon, as well as a refillable water bottle. To model environmental sustainability, please make it litterless. This camp is nut-free, please ensure that all food is free of nuts, nut products, and traces of nuts.
