The lighthouse is best seen by boat. Lake Superior Adventures has a lodge on Michipicoten Bay and offers excursions that may pass Michipicoten Harbour Lighthouse. The lighthouse is owned by the Canadian Coast Guard. Grounds open, tower closed.
