She is a member of the Sustainability Week planning team and Coordinator for 'Tap In' a campaign to end the sale of bottled water on campus. Lauren Smith is the founder of PolyGone Technologies, a VelocityScience start-up working to capture microfibres, thepredominant form of microplastics pollution.
