In this 3 part workshop, your child will dive into watercolor, learning all the basics in the first session and then applying what they have learned to final pieces of work in upcoming sessions. Your child will gain a basic understanding of color theory, develop brush techniques and begin to experiment with manipulating the paint, managing the water and playing with canvas types.
By the end of the sessions your child will have a minimum of 3 final pieces to take home, such as a pillow, a wall canvas and a framed piece. This session runs for three Satudays in October from 9-11amSaturday October 13Saturday October 20Saturday October 27 For ages 9-12Your child does not need any watercolor experience prior to this workshop, nor do they need any supplies. All materials will be provided in class.
