The Diabetes Support Group meets monthly for discussion and guest speaker presentations, to help those living with diabetes learn more about managing the disease.

The topic for January's meeting is: How chronic pain impacts life with illnesses, such as arthritis and diabetes. The next guests speaker is Jacqueline Poorter, community development co-ordinator with the Arthritis Society.

The meeting is on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 7 p.m., at Fortinos Community Room on the second floor, 65 Mall Rd., Hamilton.
