Description | Active Chefs, a Canadian registered charity dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of children, has reached a new milestone of serving 12,000 direct participants in more than 100 school-communities across Halton and Peel Region. To mark this milestone, the charitable organization is hosting a special event in Milton. Special guests attending the celebrations at JM Denyes Public School include Mayor Gordon Krantz, Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders and HDSB Supt. Jacqueline Newton. They will join Principal Brian Van Wyngaarden, founders of ActiveChefs, Aman Jaspal and Kapil Jaspal, in congratulating students taking part in ActiveChefs program and striving to make health and well-being a priority in 2018.
