| Description | Monthly meeting with talk. Phil Reilly (previous owner of Reilly's Country Garden Nursery) presents “Southeast Ireland – Horticultural Highlights”. Also fall Mini Flower Show. Carleton Place & District Horticultural Society meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month (Mar-Jun, Sep-Dec) at Zion Memorial United Church, 37 Franklin St., at 7pm. Volunteer members help with the upkeep of the Victoria School Garden, on Edmund Street beside the Carleton Place Community Labyrinth, and liaise with Carleton Place in Bloom for plantings around town, and at the riverside parks. They are always looking for new volunteers to join them and get involved.... |
