Permanent is a comedy about bad hair, adolescence, and socially awkward family members. It involves life-altering permanents and poorly-made toupees. Obstacles to daily survival ensue.  Aurelie, 13, dreams about getting a perm so that she can finally fit in at her small-town Virginia school. Things soon go incredibly wrong when her clueless parents (Patricia Arquette and Rainn Wilson) bring her to a beauty school to save a few bucks.
