Do you have a strong opinion on the Ontario government's plan to expand the Greenbelt?

Well, have your say at a public information session hosted by Springwater Township council Feb. 21. The session will take place at 7 p.m., following a council meeting that begins at 5.

This session will include staff comments regarding the proposed study area for the greenbelt expansion. Township input on the plans must be filed to the province by March 7.

On Dec. 7, the province announced a 90-day consultation period seeking input on a potential expansion of the Greenbelt to additional locations within the Greater Golden Horseshoe. The proposed study area includes a significant portion of Springwater.
