The Undergraduate Artificial Intelligence Group (UAIG) at the University of Toronto is proud to present StartAI, a first of its kind conference geared towards undergraduate students passionate about artificial intelligence.

WHAT IS STARTAI?
------------------------------------------

StartAI is a full-day action packed conference taking place on November 3rd, 2018. Featuring high-profile speakers from industry, the tech scene, academia, government, and NGOs, topics will range from cutting edge research to the pathways and opportunities available to those getting started out in the field. It will also showcase some of the best and brightest undergraduates undertaking research and work in AI today.

In addition, you will not want to miss the keynote by University of Toronto's Geoffrey Hinton, University Professor Emeritus known as the "Godfather of Deep Learning". Professor Hinton has trained leading AI specialists who have gone on to enjoy leadership positions at places like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, OpenAI, Apple, CIBC, and many more of the highest caliber companies in the field.

StartAI will be held at the MaRS Discovery District, Toronto"s largest technology park and one of the world"s leading hubs for research and commercialization in AI. This will provide attendees with the opportunity to fully experience the environments in which breakthroughs upon breakthroughs are being made.
