DetailsJoin Growing in the Arts this summer for Gita's Girls Summer Film and Expressive Arts: July 9 to 13, for girls ages nine to 15 to explore storytelling through filmmaking. Summer Shorts Film program: July 16 to 20, where budding filmmakers ages 10 to 14 will film their own comedy sketches and mini-dramas. (Films from both film-making programs to be submitted to 2019 KPL/City of Kitchener Youth Video Film Conest). Harry Potter Murder Mystery Theatre Arts program: July 23 to 28, for ages nine to 13, where muggles and wizards will design and make their own magic wand, brew butterbeer, grow a mandrake root and perform "Murder at Hogwarts" for family and friends on July 28 at The Registry Theatre. Horror Film Camp: July 30 to August 3, for ages 11 to 16 to explore special effects makeup, fake blood technique, and develop grotesque characters while shooting on location.
