Description | This one day symposium will provide a comprehensive overview of exercise physiology and its application to clinical practice in paediatrics. The program is thematic, focusing on the cardiovascular response to exercise, exercise counselling and prescription, and challenges and barriers of the Exercise Medicine field. Speakers are recognized national and international experts in exercise physiology and exercise medicine. Target Audience: Physicians, medical students, residents, exercise physiologists, kinesiologists, medical students, and other trainees and health care professionals in the fields of paediatrics and exercise medicine. The information presented will be of benefit to those caring for children with chronic disease, or those who plan to embrace exercise counselling and prescription as part of their career.
