Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Your babe in arms (or in a carrier) is very welcome (even encouraged!) to be with you for the day, however, the conference is not appropriate for children older than one year as previous attendees have found it disruptive to sessions.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Artscape Youngplace is located in the West Queen West neighbourhood near the intersection of Queen and Ossington and is readily accessible by bike, transit or car. Please note there is street parking available on the streets around the building as well as "Green P" lots nearby (see below for locations).

Transit
Artscape Youngplace is within a close walking distance of several public transit stops. Take the 501 Queen streetcar to Shaw Street (stop #6850), the 505 Dundas streetcar to Ossington Avenue (stop #2175) or the 63 Ossington bus northbound to Shaw Street (stop #6052) or southbound to Argyle Street (stop #5952).

Parking
Limited bicycle parking racks are located near the main entrance at 180 Shaw Street.

Car parking is available on the street or in several nearby "Green P" municipal parking lots.

What should I bring to the conference day?

We"re hoping to provide you with great takeaways throughout the day, so you"ll want to bring a notebook and pen. Bring a water bottle/ tea thermos and any snacks for yourself for the day. (Lunch is provided - and it's gluten-free, vegan and delicious!) If you experience hormonal temperature changes, wear comfy layers.

We"ll have chairs, but if you"d be more comfortable sitting on a yoga mat or a bolster on the floor, by all means, bring it!

If you"re taking a movement-based class, you"ll need a yoga mat and clothes that are comfortable for stretching.

What's the refund policy?

Unfortunately, we are not able to refund your ticket, but you're free to transfer it to a friend. Simply email us to make arrangements.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We will need your ticket for verification at registration, however, as long as you're able to access your ticket via a mobile device there is no need for a paper copy.

*Note to practitioners attending 4 Trimesters

A number of our participants last year attended our conference for professional reasons. This event is a great place for learning more, and networking. However, this conference is not *for* professionals, it"s for expectant and new parents experiencing this time of transition, and their questions and comments take priority in the workshops. You probably already know though, there is a lot to learn from mostly acting as a fly on the wall.
4 Trimesters is not currently in a position to offer CEUs, but if you would like a certificate of attendance for professional use, one can be emailed to you for a fee of $8. Please email hello@4trimesters.org
