Description | Saturday October 27, 2018Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis Community Meetup in Toronto!Please join us for lunch and a meetup in Toronto with speakers Dr. Gideon Hirschfield and Dr. Aliya Gulamhusein. Dr. Hirschfield is a leading researcher and PSC expert who is newly returned to the Toronto UHN Liver Clinic. Dr. Aliya Gulamhusein is the recipient of the 2018 PSC Partners Canada Young Investigator research award and is a practicing hepatologist at the Toronto Autoimmune Liver Clinic. Patients, family, and caregivers welcome at this free event. This is an opportunity for Q&A with Drs Hirschfield and Gulamhusein and to meet others living with PSC. Optional Dinner Add-On: For those who would like to stay, we have the space until 8pm and will have dinner delivered and an opportunity for support and community. Dinner will be hosted by the Fiers another anonymous member of the Toronto PSC community. Please indicate your interest in the two add-on events when you register for the lunch and talks. FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is a private (fee) parking garage under the building. Enter the parking garage behind the building via Sackville Street, south of Dundas. Entrance to 585 Dundas is from the street. Street parking is available. TTC streetcar 505 passes directly in front of the building. Take the streetcar east (towards Broadview) from TTC subway Dundas St. station on the Yonge line. And if we get a beautiful day, there is a Bikeshare Toronto bike station next to the bulding. How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
