Sandra Abbott (Imelda Staunton) finds out that her husband of thirty-five years is having an affair with her best friend. Sandra leaves to stay with her sister, Bif (Celia Imrie), who lives a bohemian lifestyle on a London council estate. Horrified at first, Sandra learns to get a new lease on life in this feel-good romantic comedy.
