| Description | How certain are you of reality? Do you ever find yourself wondering why what seems obvious to you is confusing to someone else? Have you ever used a product that was so bad you have trouble imagining who on earth could have designed it? Unconscious biases impact what we are able to perceive about others and this has significant consequences for those designing products for a diverse and global audience. Biases also impact how we uncover problems and how we design solutions for people unlike ourselves. In this applied workshop lead by Dr. Sarah Saska, Co-Founder & CEO at Feminuity and Jeremy Bailey, Artist and Creative Director at FreshBooks, you"ll learn what unconscious biases are, how they impact product design, and how you can start to overcome them.
