Description | In this workshop artist Jennifer Fryer will teach you step by step to create a beautiful watercolour galaxy painting. In the process of making your painting, you will learn how to use concentrated watercolours, masking fluid, as well as how to highlight and finish off your masterpiece. You"ll end the day with a beautiful painting you can take home, as well as a good filling of watercolour knowledge you can use to experiment and play with your newly mastered medium. Watercolour is a wild and unpredictable medium, but don"t be shy, come pick up a brush and try it out! What will we cover? Step by step, artist Jennifer Fryer will guide you through creating a beautiful watercolour painting. In the process of making your painting, you will learn how to use and control watercolours with a "wet-on-wet" technique and masking fluid, concentrated watercolours, as well as how to use a variety of salts in your work. Who will be teaching? Jennifer Fryer is a freelance artist and educator based in Toronto with a degree in Illustration. She studied at OCAD U (Toronto) and ESADSE (France), and she has collaborated with the ROM, RBC, National Post, and has been featured in the Toronto Star, and on Breakfast Television Toronto.
