Description

Welcome to the Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village (CTMHV); one of the most interesting tourist attractions in Canada South located just minutes from the U.S. border.

We are situated on a 100 acre site housing one of the largest transportation museums in Ontario and a collection of several buildings and artifacts dating from 1820 to 1930. We offer rental facilities for all sorts of occasions including weddings and we host many fundraising shows and events throughout the year which are open to the public.

As a registered charity and not-for-profit organization, our dedicated volunteers, members and staff continually support the organization’s development and growth as a valued community hub and keeper of historical treasures of Canada South.

We encourage everyone to visit with their family and friends! Come and discover the Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village and experience the rich and colourful history of Essex County. Remember to take the time to include a trip to some of the other great attractions our area has to offer including Colasanti’s Tropical Garden and Pelee Island Winery both located a short distance from our site.

We are just 45 minutes from The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan or 2 hours easy drive from London Ontario. So come out to the Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village….you’ll be happy you did.
