The historic Gananoque Inn is nestled on the banks of the St. Lawrence River in the small, picturesque town of Gananoque, Ontario deep in the heart of the world famous Thousand Islands. Muskie Jake's

Located just off the Lobby, Muskie Jake's serves casual fare and beverages. The sunny patio deck is a popular spot on a summer afternoon when burgers, pasta, and daily specials are sure to please. In winter enjoy a cozy table by the fireplace.

For more than 60 years the legendary fishing guide “Muskie” Jake Huntley led guests of The Gananoque Inn on their quest for the elusive muskellunge. Jake is a part of Gananoque’s history and took fishermen from all over the world to his secret fishing spots for bass, pike and Muskie. The St. Lawrence River provides an excellent habitat for these amazing game fish, the giants of the pike family, which weigh up to 69 pounds. “Muskie” Jake was a master of the chase and most days during the summer you can still see his fishing boat, the Muskie Jake (now belonging to the Inn), tied up at the dock.
