The newest conservation area in the Ganaraska watershed, located behind the Authority administrative office in Port Hope, provides residents and visitors with a natural respite in which to walk, picnic and enjoy the natural environment. Approximately two kilometres of meandering trails take visitors along the Ganaraska River and around the old Molson Pond. Various demonstration sites ae designed to show landowners how to protect and enhance their properties through conservation techniques such as native flower and grass planting, slope and bank stabilization, woodlot plantings and use of indigenous plants in home landscaping projects. A covered picnic shelter is available for use as well.
