Big O Conservation Area

Activities: Free Admission, Lake River Reservoir, Hiking, Snowshoeing, Cross Country Skiing

Big O Conservation Area has a variety of habitats and a number of nature trails that allow visitors to hike through these areas. It is one of southwestern Ontario’s birding ‘hot spots’. In early May, many species of migratory birds arrive at this conservation area after crossing Lake Erie. Birdwatchers can check which birds have arrived and add species to a log book. The bird log book is located at the Comber Country Depot at 6306 Main Street Comber. Your hosts are Rob and Barb Gagnier. The book is always located in “Lil’s Gift Room”.
