Ken Whillans Resource Management Area is a 215 acre property along Hwy. 10 in Caledon that is managed for its natural resources and offers recreational opportunities. The Credit River and two warm water ponds with fishing piers offer angling opportunities for Largemouth Bass and Trout. The pond’s side trails allow easy access to the shoreline as well as a leisurely stroll through remaining apple orchards where one can catch a glimpse of the variety of bird species that reside here. Access to the Caledon Trailway for cycling and equestrian use is available from the main parking lot. The area is named after former Brampton Mayor Ken Whillans, who was Chair of CVC’s Board of Directors.
