Enniskillen Conservation Area is located a stone’s throw away from the small village of Enniskillen and offers a small network of trails through beautiful coniferous forest. The 3 km trail network includes numerous sections of boardwalk that cross an upper portion of the Bowmanville Creek five times. By combining a hike with a nice picnic with family and friends at one of the group picnicking areas, Enniskillen Conservation Area makes a great day out. The area is known for its local history including the Moorey Grist Mill (built just north of the Education Centre in 1874 and dismantled in 1956) that used to take advantage of the constant supply of water that continues to run through the property today.
