Nestled along the shores of Lake Erie, Haldimand Conservation Area provides campers and day visitors with a quiet place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Camping, swimming, and bird-watching are popular activities. Over 230 campsites are offered in four campground areas, including 165 with electrical, water and sewer hookup. The conservation area offers a scenic, lakefront picnic pavilion and access to a small beach area. Located minutes west of Selkirk, the conservation area is centrally located to nearby museums, community events and boat launches providing access to the lake. The park is a convenient base for cycling tours.Haldimand Conservation Area is owned and operated by the Long Point Region Conservation Authority.
