Bruce’s Mill takes its name from a restored water-powered mill located in the conservation area, on a tributary of the Rouge River. In the spring, Bruce’s Mill is home to the Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival. Visitors may tour the working sugarbush, take a wagon ride, and enjoy pancakes and real maple syrup. Also, there is a variety of maple products available in the sugar shack for you to purchase and enjoy at home. In the summer, visitors can hike through 10 km of trails that are both open and forested. In addition to hiking, Bruce’s Mill has picnic areas for families and large groups, barbeque rentals, baseball diamonds and soccer fields.
