Falls Reserve is a 230 acre property that is nearly enclosed by the Maitland River. It features terrific views of cascading waterfalls and limestone cliffs. Over thousands of years the river has carved its way through the rock leaving behind the rugged lower Maitland valley. Wide and shallow, the river flows over a series of waterfalls creating an exciting swimming area. Both the river and the stocked pond provide excellent fishing. The park has 190 campsites plus two group sites and a radio-free tent area. Special events and interpretive programs available throughout the summer along with hot showers, concession booth, hiking trails, and on-line reservations. Seasonal sites available.
