DescriptionGiant roadside attraction The existing steel truss Brighton Road Swing Bridge was built in 1947 and is being replaced. The Brighton Road Swing Bridge spans the Murray Canal on County Road 64, connecting the communities of Prince Edward County and the Municipality of Quinte West. The project to replace this bridge is part of an unprecedented $3 billion investment to support infrastructure work to heritage, visitor, waterway and highway assets located within national historic sites, national parks, and national marine conservation areas across Canada.
