Peel Region collects real Christmas trees from the curb. Put your Christmas tree at the curb on your scheduled recycling collection day during the weeks of January 8 and January 15, 2018.

Trees taller than 3 m (10 ft) must be cut in half to be collected at the curb or dropped at aPeel Community Recycling Centre.

Preparing your tree for collection:
Trees placed in or on snowbanks, or trees still decorated with tinsel or ornaments will NOT be collected. Remove all tinsel, ornaments, plastic bags, nails, wires and tree stands before placing your tree on the curb. Trees decorated with artificial snow foam ('flocked' trees) will also be collected. You don't need to remove the foam. Put your tree at the curb separate from your organics and recycling carts.
