The Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board will host a board-wide Black History Student Conference on February 22 for secondary school students.

Now in its fourteenth year, the conference will highlight local community members who have achieved success and fulfillment of their ambitions and who are role models for all students.

Guest speakers will include Olympian Ohenewa Akuffo, urologist Dr. Joseph Acquaye, lawyers Anthony Morgan and Hadiya Roderique and TV personalities Amanda Parris and Dwight Drummond.
