As it is surrounded by Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. (AECL) property, which is a secure property with no public access, McQuestin Point Lighthouse is best seen by boat from the river. The lighthouse is owned by the Canadian Coast Guard. Grounds open, tower closed.
