This race will support Women's Shelters Canada and their program 'ShelterSafe' in its efforts to provide safety, hope, and support for abused women and their children. RACE REGISTRATION & KIT PICK-UP: Race kit pick-up will be held at the Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Centre inside near the entry to the track. January 6th starting from at 7:30am - 8:30am. Participants in the 1hr, 3hr, and 6hr will receive a custom Stride Inside Track Race singlet. Please ensure you indicate your size at the time of registration. If the event is not sold out, race day registration is available - CASH ONLY. Those registering on race day will not be guaranteed a singlet. PARKING: There is free parking located onsite at the facility. RACE START TIMES: 1hr, 6hr SOLO and RELAY participants will start at 9:00am. 3hr participants will start at 10:30am. You may leave the track to take breaks during the race, however, please acknowledge the following rules: - exit and enter the track at the same point located directly after the timing mat- indicate whether or not you plan on returning to the race to the staff at the start/finish- stay away from the timing mat once off the track RELAY PARTICIPANTS: You must exchange within the designated zone so the timing company can accurately track your team. TRACK DESCRIPTION: The Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Centre is a 690' (210m) 4 lane IAAF certified polyurethane track. PLEASE NOTE: ALL TRACK USERS MUST CHANGE INTO CLEAN INDOOR SHOES There will be an aid station at the start/finish with water, electrolyte drinks, pop, fruit, and sweet & salty snacks. There is also men's and women's change rooms with lockers and showers for your use. AWARDS: Finishers of each race will receive a race medal upon completion. Solo finisher prizes will also be awarded to the top 3 male overall and top 3 female overall in each event. The top relay team will recieve an award. EXTRAS: Enfield Timing will be there to time your race - all results will be posted after the race. We will have a photographer available to get some action shots of you round the track.
