Michipicoten Island Lighthouse is best seen by boat or from the air. Sea kayaking tours that circumnavigate the island are available. The third-order Fresnel lens from Michipicoten Island Lighthouse is on display at Museum on Tower Hill in Parry Sound. The lighthouse is owned by the Canadian Coast Guard. Grounds open, tower closed.
