METZ is a Polaris Prize-nominated band that had its start in Ottawa. The New Yorker called their debut album, “one of the year’s best albums...a punishing, noisy, exhilarating thing,” and they have garnered international acclaim as one of the most electrifying and forceful live acts, touring widely and extensively, playing hundreds of shows each year around the world.

Partner is funny, but not a joke. Gay but not for each other, as their Instagram tagline reads. It is the 'mature' effort of two best friends named Josée Caron and Lucy Niles. Borne of their bizarre and fortuitous friendship, Partner has been called the “best new band in Canada” by The Globe and Mail. The duo bring a new spirit to rock, infusing the influences of Melissa Etheridge, Ween, kd lang, and Prince. This is a licensed event.
